Joshua Aaron Weinstein

Joshua Aaron Weinstein (born October 28, 1976) is a writer, filmmaker and musician.
He was born in Rockville, Maryland, to Rhonda and Kenneth Weinstein.
Weinstein attended Wootton High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He completed is Master's degree in playwriting at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
His film production company, WCProductions, established in 2005, has short over a dozen short films, music video and promos, along with an original comedy series, ''It's Madeline Long''. Weinstein is also the Executive Director and Resident Playwright for LiveWire Chicago Theatre.
During LiveWire's 2008-09 season, Weinstein directed the Chicago Premiere of Eric Bogosian's ''Red Angel'' 〔()〕 along with two short plays as part of ''VisionFest 2008''; LiveWire presented an original comedy by Weinstein, ''Soldiers: The Desert Stand'' 〔()〕 directed by Glenn Proud as part of their 2007-08 season; during the 2006-07 season, he directed his own work, ''A/other Lover'' 〔()〕 for LiveWire as well as a one-act titled ''The Bout'' at the Abbie Hoffman Festival; LiveWire produced his adaptation of August Strindberg's ''Miss Julie'' titled ''Night of Innocent Ganmes'' in 2006. LiveWire will present the World Premiere of Weinstein's original full-length drama, ''Lower Debt'' as part of their 2009-10 season.
Weinstein has played in various bands, included the travelling folk trio ''Patchouli'', indie-rock band ''the pass out game'' from Fayetteville and ''The Bonedaddies'' a blues-rock band from Peoria. Weinstein recorded the album ''Visions'' with ''Patchouli'' in 2000 at Mr. Small's Funhouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
